The 1904 World's Fair, St. Louis
My great-grandmother’s dad left his Iowa farm in the summer of 1904 to go to the St. Louis World’s Fair. Formally named the “Louisiana Purchase Exposition,” the fair was the country’s grand celebration of the centennial of the Louisiana Purchase.
