I spent part of my career working for the Marconi Company and during an office move one of my team came upon a small treasure trove of early documents from Marconi's 'Wireless Telegraph and Signal Company' that he formed in July 1897, including the handwritten paybook for the first employees. We handed it all over to the Marconi museum in Chelmsford, England.
